The studio is humming with activity as we complete work for an exhibition opening on April 10 at the Stremmel Gallery in Reno, Nevada. The gallery has magnificent spaces for the sculpture.

In August we completed COEUR, a five foot diameter sculpture in Silicon Bronze. The sculpture was commissioned by a couple whose home is high in the mountains overlooking the entire South San Francisco Bay. The piece sits on a lawn terrace below the house.

In August we also installed MONAD at a new home in Carmichael. The piece graces a roundabout in the entry court. MONAD found a home through the hard work of my friends Beth Jones and Linda Jolley at JAYJAY Gallery in Sacramento.

September was marked by the completion and installation of CONFLUENCE in the conference room of Wilcox Miller and Nelson in Sacramento. This is the first wall piece completed in the studio in years. It was a great change of pace to build a more graphic sculpture.

In October SUMO and VIRGA returned to the studio after a two year sojourn. They spent 2006 in Santa Rosa at the Paradise Grove Winery. During the Spring and Summer the two sculptures were in residence at the California Shakespeare Theater in Orinda.
